Our old Nook cases eventually broke for a variety of reasons (either clips holding the tablet in the case or a rubber band holding the case closed) and we needed new ones . We found them and they were very reasonably priced. They arrived very quickly and we immediately replaced our old ones with new ones. The new case fits a little tighter than the original, but offers excellent protection for the fragile tablet. The clips hold it securely and the magnetic clasp keeps the lid tightly closed without a rubber band. On the back are camera and speaker connections that match the device perfectly.
