My daughter is obsessed with buckling and unbuckling her belts everywhere. My backpack, high chair, her car seat, etc. over and over again. I thought this would be a great gift for her and SHE LOVES IT! All the buckles on both sides, plus the bag itself is excellent. The large zipper opens and closes easily by itself. She likes to put things in, take them out, put them back in and zip up. So your kid will be busy for a while. The car is great too. This is a great item to play with. It's great for small car trips and for carrying small items, but I wouldn't use it for air travel simply because it's small and not very functional for that type of travel.
