This is my first brake controller. It's a "timer" control that the brake manual for my Dexter trailer specifically advises using. That works fine. I won't spend much if I just want to tow a ยฃ3500 trailer. I also purchased the Hopkins 47275 install kit which eliminates the lag factor during install. No excuses when everything shows up at your doorstep!
