I'm a female who has had a canvas bag that I used as a summer purse and I got complimented on that purse every time I went out of the house. After at least 10 years of summer use,(it is white) and being thrown in the wash about once a week, it was time to find another. I wanted a darker color and found this. I love it and it's even better than my old one! It has very convenient pockets that zip and a few inside that don't. It holds everything I need and it all has a special place. I couldn't be happier! I also love the brown leather patch and strap color because they match my leather sandals perfectly. It could easily pass as a man's bag as well. It's not a girly looking bag unless it's on a female's shoulder yet still rustic looking.
