My house was built in 1963 - original oak floors. I have stool height bar stools that are constantly used with a kitchen island and are constantly sliding back and forth. I also have a variety of furniture from antique 19th century cherry dressers to modern Pottery Barn side tables with iron legs. And again movement on oak floors. I have purchased other sets of felt pads from AMZN. Felt gliders can be knocked off so easily. A real pain changing damn things every few days. These pads blew me away. Hallelujah. I put them on bar stool legs a few months ago and haven't had the slightest problem since. These pads are of high quality, they fit well on each "foot" of my various items and are reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you have to choose. Just a really great product, a keeper as a resource for years to come.
