Yes, some of these negative reviews are spot on. They're falling apart, and yes, my kids come home with wet and cold hands, but if you can get a few (especially when they're $8 each), it's a good deal. Both of my boys are drawn to these gloves and some have had to be thrown away (after school holidays at rock playgrounds) but I'd rather spend $40 on 5 than a good one that gets lost somehow (because kids always lose them). I stocked up on them for our Alaskan winter last summer, they were plentiful and I only threw away one pair per child. Keep the good ones for snowboarding + skiing, use them every day for school and more.
