Great detectors, great built in battery system, they solved my problem with auto activation on install, it has great readings for CO2 etc. Editing is as bad as Everyone. This is insane, like all other smoke alarms that are so bad I won't buy them, in a nutshell. • Takes ONLY the included screws. Very tight tolerances • These are bad screws. Short, easy to undress. • They find it inconceivable that you can install anything other than drywall with the crappy anchors they provided. Also note that plastic anchors are NOT suitable for ceilings. They have very, very low peel strength. Intended for use on walls due to shear strength. • The mounting bracket is very tight. Too tight. If you don't have a perfectly flat ceiling and you screw the bracket to the ceiling, the detector won't fit on it. You need to loosen the screws until the bracket is flat. • The mount interface design is horrible, there are no cones on the mount tabs so unless everything lines up PERFECTLY it won't last long. • Casting quality control is poor, so often you can't attach them at all, or don't use enough force to be afraid of breaking them. I also call that a design flaw; They had to plan for casting tolerances.
