. DO NOT BUY: Product Rating: 1. Broken scroll wheel, 2. Software sync error. 3. Ergonomic thumb conflict. 4. Bad customer support. The scroll wheel does not tilt to the left (original and replacement). Every tilt wheel I've ever heard of was bi-directional (left/right). It just leans to the right. The mouse assistant manual and software say it's bi-directional, but it's not. I replaced the block but the replacement has the same problem. I suspect a stacking error. 2. The software is not synchronized. Mouse Assistant 5 does not sync and therefore I cannot program the forward and backward play buttons (which are left blank at the factory and therefore do not work). Due to a sync error, none of the buttons can be programmed. 3. Ergonomic: To use the ball, the thumb must pass BUT NOT TOUCH the scroll wheel. This requires the thumb to aim and tense, and suffer from ball walk (due to accidentally touching the scroll wheel while controlling the ball). 4. TWO HOURS with FOUR support reps who (1) wasted my time, (2) tried to blame the customer, (3) suggested re-downloading an inapplicable program, (4) irrelevant YouTube suggested videos, (5) didn't know what they were doing (6) and were very deceitful and evasive and unwilling to answer a yes or no question to confirm what they had previously said. I'm returning the second one and waiting for a redesign that (1) fixes the broken scroll wheel, (2) moves the ball and scrolls left/right instead of up/down, (3) has software that syncs/works, and ( 4) ) Quality control that eliminates the need for customer support. The handheld is a great idea, but now my thumbs are hurting and my frustration with the escaping ball has me waiting for a better design. WAITING FOR THE BEST DESIGN (manufacturing, working software and better quality control).
