Let me start by saying that the price was the deciding factor in the purchase. Two remote-controlled fans for a small price? Yes, please. Got one for an interior that is way too hot, even with the A/C and ceiling fan running. I got the other one for the garage. They are both fairly quiet and produce a surprising amount of wind. For the price I was expecting them to be "normal" but I would say they are actually "good"! They are very quick and easy to attach, just a few screws and you're done. The power cords are a bit shorter than I expected, especially for a wall fan. Most people want the fans to be higher and the outlets down, and those cables are 4 or 6 feet long. mmm A 10-12 foot power cord would have been far more useful. If you need a fan in a specific location, you may need an extension cord. The remote control does what it is supposed to. The fans turn on and off, the speed changes, the oscillations turn on and off, and there's a timer. I'm perfectly happy with it. As long as I don't have to get up to make things work, wooooosh, I'm a happy lazy couch potato. Conclusion - the price is great for 2 fans, they do what they are supposed to do, but the cables are a bit too short. Two thumbs up.
