My old map case was a strong, extra wide rubber band around two metal plates. He did his job and blocked RFID. I was looking for something that had slightly better access to certain cards (ID, Costco, public transit) and met the criteria. The aesthetics (the leather is lovely) and security are a bonus and mostly make up for how much larger it is than the more basic design. Due to the pandemic, I usually only commute between work and home, so that my wallet is hardly endangered. But I attached it to a belt loop so I can't leave it in the supermarket or anywhere after I paid, it stuck to me. The included attachment loop (set model) is long enough to be able to view cards at checkout if needed. In any case, I used my phone to pay whenever possible to reduce the infestation, so I could handle it even if it was more of a nuisance to connect. I can also attach them to my bike keys and hide them in the saddle or trunk while riding, which also makes them harder to lose/forget as I need them to lock/unlock my bike and get inside the house.
