Front shelves don't take up all of the legroom, they just don't go to full length. The sidewalls rise about an inch on the sides and back. The only downside to the front trays is that there is no ledge on the back of the tray that goes under the seat adjuster rod. In addition, the outer edge of the window sill does not reach the threshold. Dirt and grime have a small gap between which they can slide. It would be nice if that happened. The back fits very well, made to order. The material is durable but a bit slippery. My foot slides easily over the material, which is very different from regular mats. It would be nice if there was some kind of texture to keep your feet from slipping on the material. Despite a few minor complaints about the front compartments, I would definitely recommend them. Too bad I didn't buy them sooner. Edit: I just ordered a trunk trim. With all the rain we've had this was a wise investment. Wet and dirty feet of the passengers did not spoil my car. It's worth saving me cleaning time.
