Very affordable but you get what you pay for

New out of box Both power buttons on each unit are defective. It can be used as a gravity switch, but instead they can just be used to hold the button down MOST of the time you're dosing. It's not a deal breaker, but after five minutes of trying to see if I'd pressed the button correctly, I immediately realized that they were indeed very poorly made or broken. No matter how little salt I add, you end up with big chunks. I have personally used kosher salt and it doesn't seem to be able to break down kosher salt that is much smaller than the original grain size. Pepper seems to work well. I actually get more productivity with my manual coffee grinder, but I'm really tired of having to grind so many peppers because I like freshly ground peppers. It will take longer, but it will be easier to just press the button while I turn it off. I gave it a LOW double score for who wants to give a gift that basically breaks the first time. I'm just talking about setting up the gravity button. I didn't have enough time to figure out how long the battery lasts between charges. I think you get what you pay for. a bit oversized so the devices will flap around and possibly fall out if you attend to it. At least they fall almost completely from their base, but don't fall out of the device with a slight movement that's easy to recreate by simply grabbing the handle.
