After a big move from California to Texas, we found the containers cost less than some (average) boxes, so we bought about twenty containers at the local hardware store. But the tape didn't hold. So I just ordered a large pack of cable ties. Because I had expected that four pieces would be needed per container. I was surprised that only two were needed. In the picture I placed one in the top left corner and one in the bottom right corner. They held up great. It wasn't easy cutting them off. Found that wire cutters work best, but a good pair of scissors will work as well. Also, ties are much cheaper than ribbons. Also, by purchasing containers instead of boxes, you can reuse the containers and zip them for storage and protection.
