I wanted a cover that would fit a smaller theater-type recliner as the covers with the separate armrest covers would not work on my chairs. This cover has a cross-shape with fabric that drapes over the armrest instead of having a fitted shape, which is what I needed.The quality is decent, and it also has an adjustable elastic strap that fastens around the back of the chair and does a good job of holding the cover in place.The only negative is that I would have liked it to be a little thicker. We have pets, and since the fabric is on the thin side, it does not offer much protection against their claws. I have not had any liquid spills yet, so I can't vouch for the water resistance, but it is a nice cover that at the very least offers some protection during regular use.
