Oh my god, that might be an overstatement. No, let's say it's as thin as tablecloths from a $2 store. You know, those cheap ones that decorate the party and then you wrap the mess in and throw it away? Yeah, I thought we were talking about heavy vinyl, heavy vinyl. And part of me is glad it isn't because then I won't have a problem with it falling off my "room divider" panels that I'm going to attach it to. But I'm telling you, they didn't just fold it, they ironed those folds. I'll try my clothes steamer on the back and hope it evaporates. If so, it might have been worth it. In addition, the footprint of the tree is very faint. I wish I had chosen a baby blue that I thought was "too dark". Maybe it will be a shade lighter? Hmmm. I'm making a simple youtube studio and maybe this will work. I wouldn't use it with kids running around because it would break. It's not what I expected in terms of thickness, and well, it's a little overpriced for what it is. Although I admit that it has a matte look and maybe suitable for photography from that point of view. I had a really hard time finding a non-glossy/reflective background with no annoying texture, so I'm not 100% dissatisfied, but I wish they were honest about the quality.
