BE PREPARED TO LOSE A TIP OR TWO FINGERS

Make sure you have good medical insurance before purchasing this item as you will end up in the ER due to stitches. IT'S SO SHARP, right now I'm wearing some band-aids to hold together what's left of my thumb tip. It's like playing one of those professional mandolins: one wrong move and your fingertip is cut off so cleanly you don't even realize it for a moment, until suddenly your cheese is covered in blood. Otherwise I cannot praise this grater highly enough, it is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a cheese grater, the holes are just the right size for those large but fine chunks, much better than my old grater which was a pain to clean and which always ended up with rust and dried cheese in folded metal rims anyway, and it had three useless sides since I use a regular microplane for all my zest/nutmeg/ginger/garlic/parmesan/chocolate needs. This thing is SUPER easy to clean, solid steel, no tricky crevices, nice wooden handle (arrived pretty dry, needs regular lubrication with edible mineral oil to keep it nice), silicon tubing on the other end. keeps it brilliantly stable and it comes with a much needed protective case. Pleased with it, fully justifies its price.
