This radio worked very well for several weeks. I use it every day despite numerous problems with it. Before purchasing, I watched a review on YouTube where the reviewer described the longevity of this radio. The video review I am writing about showed the dynamo handle and antenna breaking. I checked this review before purchasing and thought carefully about these critical failure points. Despite the careful handling of this radio, I also had the antenna crank and brake. In addition, the headphone jack is very sensitive and does not work reliably. I listen to this radio almost exclusively with headphones, so this feature is important to me. As if these seemingly planned points of failure (antenna and crank) weren't reason enough to avoid this radio, trying to email Eton is very frustrating. This company doesn't care about customer service. I will be careful with future purchases of Etòn products. Despite this, this radio is solid and useful. Plan for the handle to fail, the antenna to fail, and the headphone jack to be very delicate. Also, I tried not to charge this radio with a USB adapter plugged into a wall outlet (or a computer). I've tried charging this radio using just the crank and solar panel (mostly using solar power). The battery never lasts very long on a charge, even when the radio shows a full charge it only plays through the headphones for about an hour. When the crank failed I started charging mainly from the AC adapter and using the solar panel to keep it going. This drastically increases the amount of time I can listen to this radio. I enjoy using this radio but after only two months of careful use it is only 15% useful. I'd consider it a good deal if it was $10-15, but for the price I'd stay away. Nothing against this Amazon seller, it was delivered quickly.
