The device itself looks pretty good, but the documentation and software/drivers that come with it aren't great. I can't recommend that for Rasp2 at the moment. Kernel binaries only, no driver support, standard Raspberry Pi 2 operating systems do not support the device. It took a lot of fiddling to get it working with a vanilla install of Jessie on Rasp2. Had to use this https://github.com/derekhe/waveshare-7inch-touchscreen-driver to get the touchscreen working. There is also no connection from the HDMI side. I had to play around with /boot/config.txt to get the screen resolution to work and had to change that file every time I wanted to switch monitors.
