After 2 years we replaced it with real down

We just received the duvet and are happy to take it off the bed. This alternative to down is more like a fluffy, cheap polyester and cotton fabric that regulates your body temperature poorly. I hate the cold and I'm ALWAYS cold, but I swear I spend the whole night kicking my leg out, tucking it up to my waist, etc. My husband hates the heat and has never been comfortable. But with a proper duvet, we're both happy because it seems to regulate the temperature better for you. Also, I like that real down is heavier than these (they're very light and fluffy) so real down feels like a weighted blanket for comfort.
