This is my second pair and I have to say it's a great product. I know you are reading this and thinking how great if this is my second pair? let me explain lol As a hospital nurse, I'm destined to wear gowns and by the end of my shift I have a habit of putting things in the pockets of those gowns, including my first pair of headphones. And that's why they went through the washer and dryer 5 times before throwing the towel away! Not washed conservatively, of course, but stretched for over a year. They endured the watery beating and kept working on it until they couldn't take it anymore. So I bought another pair because I'm sure the violence I endure will endure!
