Mainly good for diagnostic, testing and measuring tools
Accurate compared to readings from auto parts dealers. There were some issues with the display backlight but no text. Seems to go away when you adjust the connection or switch to a different battery. I'm not sure if it really solved the problem. Easy to use and easier than pulling out my marine batteries to check. Paid for itself when I found a defective battery that was under warranty. The battery still worked, but was empty. Very handy when you have a spare battery that is nearing the end of its warranty. I haven't used it yet to test the charging system.
