Spilled red wine, coffee and Pepsi on bed trying to be nice to SO. I thought the stains wouldn't go away, but OXY advanced clean and a drill bit made the job easier. This is my second time owning this device and as others have said it has its downsides. My last car had a ruptured inner tube that was secured with silicone tape. I use this one for pet stains and this new one for upholstery, mattresses and general stains. In order for this machine to last for several years +, some preventive measures must be taken into account. The hose has a weak point. Instead, use it to hold the nozzle and use zip ties to hold the hose on the outside of the bracket, reducing stress on the hose. Self-adhesive silicone tape is a must when you receive the machine for the first time. This will prevent the weak point on the hose leading to the connector from bending and tearing. - After cleaning, what you are cleaning, take a bowl of water and vacuum it before draining the sewage. This will clear the hose of fibres, hair and other obstructions. My car still looks new and works great. Follow these steps and you will be incredibly happy with this purchase.
