Used these gloves on a short trip today, mid to low 40F. Total mileage less than 30 miles on mixed highway and road driving. My pinky and ring finger started getting cold. If you're short on cash this would be a decent option for short trips. I could still feel and operate the controls on my bike with no issues, but for such a short ride, decent winter motorcycle gloves would have worked much better. Years ago I had winter first gear motorcycle gloves that cost about $60 and would do a lot better in today's weather. They have plenty of insulation but the leather is of fairly poor quality, think of those cheap leather gloves you see at pharmacies for $5. I feel that inferior leather offers poor wind resistance. The entire glove has a soft feel, soft leather and soft padding. So I doubt it offers much protection. I still give it 3 stars for the price. But if you can spend twice as much on a famous brand of motorcycle gloves, you're probably better off. I don't ride in the winter anymore, so I figured I didn't need to spend a lot on winter hand protection. But I expected a better performance from them as the temperature wasn't that cold today.
