Media could not be loaded. We have to admit, we always thought sewing baskets were for the avid seamstress or knitter. But we're tired of our threads lying around in the closet, lost needles and looking for scissors every time we need to sew on a button or darn a pair of socks. When we found this attractive sewing kit on sale, we decided to give it a try. Boy are we glad we did! The box is bigger than we initially thought with enough space for all sorts of items and all our stuff is stored in a portable container that we love. Now we're really looking forward to pulling out the needle and thread, and best of all, this basket includes lots of concepts (for the uninitiated, concepts are small sewing tools like needles and thread) to help a beginner get started. If you are looking for an entry point into the world of sewing this would make a great starter kit for yourself or as a gift for someone who is getting their own space or even that child you are teaching to sew.
