Received this little dock this morning. The first impression is that it is small, well made and works well! I connected it to my Dell Inspiron 15 5502 laptop. Nothing happened immediately. I connected the audio cable to the device and Windows immediately recognized the new USB audio device. After a while my speakers started working. Then I connected my monitor to the HDMI port. Again, Windows immediately recognized the new display and it came to life. I plugged a USB mouse and keyboard receiver into the rear slot and it was quickly recognized and installed. I tested both card reader slots and they worked with no issues. I tested each front USB port with a flash drive and they worked. I haven't checked the DisplayPort or Ethernet connections as I don't have anything to connect at the moment. I connected my phone to the device's USB-C port and my phone's notification area showed that it was charging via USB, but I've noticed that the battery percentage has gone down a bit instead of going up, so it's possible that my phone crashed confused. I haven't looked for a long time. In short, I'm happy with it. I carefully selected this device from those available at Revain as my laptop's only USB-C port is on the left side and I wanted the USB ports on the device to face the front when in use, while the HDMI ports point backwards. The ONLY thing I would change, given the choice, is to move the audio jack to the "back" of the unit (same side as the HDMI ports) so that the audio cable is a little out of the way. in its configuration on my desk. I plan on keeping it on my desk all the time, but it's compact enough to toss in a bag as a simple mobile key. Update a week later: Once when waking up the computer from sleep, the peripherals connected to this device were not working. I rebooted and everything came to life as expected. Waking up from sleep can be problematic for many computers and peripherals, so I didn't blame this device much. I wouldn't change my mind about the device because of that.
