This is a nice battery box. It is easy to open and close, and you can easily see through the plastic to see how many batteries you have. The compartments have grooves that hold the batteries and keep them from touching each other's ends. The batteries are stored horizontally, two deep.If the box is not full, areas where you have only one layer of batteries instead of two allow the batteries to roll around and fall out of place if you do not put a small piece of foam or fabric inside to hold them down, but so long as you keep the box full or use something to hold the solo layers down everything stays in place just fine.I have an inflatable T Rex suit, and I like being able to have batteries easy to see and use. I used to have them is a Tupperware container, and this works much better.
