I had trouble finding a cover for my curved sofa which for some reason my cats prefer to the many scratching opportunities around the house. I've used sheets for covers for a while but they looked awful, picked up cat hair and cats were smart enough to scratch under sheets. But curved plastic covers could not be found. So I decided to try one of these sofa covers for a longer section. Voila! It looked decent (it's plastic, I didn't expect better), it's thick enough to protect against cat claws and waterproof for hairballs. Also, it's slightly fitted so cats can sit or walk over it (I plan on removing the plastic covers for human use). But cats don't like surfaces that their paws/claws can't grab onto, so they don't stay on for long - and I don't think they like the very mild smell of plastic (although it will probably tarnish). So I bought a second long sofa cover for the curved part. Yes! It's malleable enough to get around corners and still looks pretty decent. But judge for yourself - I attached a short video.
