This is almost perfect for our needs. My cat is large and a bit stocky (between 14 and 16 pounds). This tower suits him. It rolls up well both in the box and on top of the bed. He's curled up, not a sprawling cat. If he were a sprawling cat, this might be a bit small for him (although he likes to drape it over the top's brim). The height is perfect to see from our windows (not too high, just medium and easy). I am also satisfied with the quality of this cat apartment. I wanted something that wasn't covered in bad carpet and would look good in the house. Laminated wood looks very beautiful, is durable and easy to assemble. I also like that all the pillows/beds have velcro so you can remove them for washing.
