Review on Idemitsu CVT Type N (NS-2) Transmission Fluid for Nissan - 5 Quart by Anthony Hicks

Removed old service manuals and must use NS-3 fluid on 14' Rouge Select. Spoke to a Nissan CVT technician and he said it shouldn't make much of a difference but he recommends using NS-3 as it's an updated formula but my CVT is still an older Jatco model. Unfortunately when I got to the fluid change my OD was at 90K and the old fluid was dark brown. Glad I used this to dilute the old burned fluid and the bonus was exactly 5 liters drained so it was exactly the amount I needed, will probably need more for the 4WD version. I have already noticed smoother operation of the variator, but not ideal. I will drain one or two more, pour in NS-3 and change the two filters that are in the variator.
