Did you know that washer dryers are magnetic? I just found out about this and this shelf is saving a life in a Landry closet. My linen closet is cramped with little space and no storage. I was going to hang a small shelf on the wall next to the apartment with a 4 inch high ledge for pictures to hold washing machine tabs but! My house electrical fuse box is on this wall. Another wall is shared with a neighbor. So inappropriate place to drill wall for shelf. I thought I would have to break the shelf along the strip and I'm not sure how strong that would be. But this beautiful magnetic shelf is perfect and easy to install - no screws required. Very strong. Does not move. Hold tight. My washing tablets and wool dryer balls could easily carry more weight. The hooks on the bottom are great for hangers, lint bags and more. Even with the washer/dryer unit running, shaking didn't move this shelf. Love it The block and shelf option doesn't damage the wall and doesn't leave a sticky feeling after washing as it's magnetic, I can move around slightly if needed The white color goes well with the block, the color is smooth and easy to wash off .
