Great seat! Best in Motorcycles and Power Sports

I bought this seat this spring and was planning to use it on my trip this summer. I have a 2011 Street Glide. It took me about 500 miles to really get used to it and "break in". I don't know if this is normal, but that was my personal experience. I have clocked up over 150,000 long distance miles in the stock seats over many years. I've used everything from lambskin covers to gel pads to make the ride more comfortable. It helped, but he always had a sore bottom and was quite tense, like most people on a long journey. My plan was to use that seat for this year's ride and then put the stock seat back in place. This year I've traveled about 3800 miles in 10 days of travel in this chair. I won't say it works wonders but wow what a difference. The longest day I've ridden was about 750 miles and I was still feeling pretty good after getting off my bike for the day. My wife loves it even more than me. It's much wider for the passenger and much more comfortable than the standard seat. My wife rode 300 miles with me once in the stock seat and she had a pretty sore and stiff butt so I bought this seat before I went this year. Worth the money in my opinion. I'll leave it on the bike and keep the stock seat. It's a little chunky compared to the slimmer standard seat, but it still looks good and is very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to travel with a passenger.

Pros
  • Accommodates a 1.5" rider. below the standard seat on 97-10 and 0.5 inch models. Seat below standard on models 11-13
Cons
  • Very expensive
