When I received this Linksys N600 Access Point it was easy to set up and configure, but after a few hours I was pleased with the improved speeds of the wireless devices in our home. , randomly disconnected and it was very difficult to reestablish an administrative connection via LAN to fix the problem. It went on like this for several days and I've almost resigned myself to sending it back, but I don't give up easily, especially with technical problems. After trying all the usual things to no avail as mentioned in previous reviews, after some thought I decided to remove it from the 24-port Ethernet switch it was plugged into and put it on its own dedicated switch instead to connect. Port on my SonicWall hardware firewall. voila! he hasn't shrunk or hiccuped in a month. I understand that most users will have different situations, but this could be an important sign that he was NOT happy being connected to a bunch of other things on it.
