I usually wear size 6 or medium pants. I received these pants in small and medium. and decided to leave a little. They fit better and there is room for leggings underneath. Got them just in time when 24 inches of snow fell last week. They kept me warm and mostly dry. I was in the snow for about 2 hours and the pants got a little wet so they are not fully waterproof. But hopefully we don't have that much snow too often. They stretch well and are really comfortable. I also plan to wear them for hiking and camping when the evenings get chilly. I also bought blue and black. The size was wrong. Gray was best, blue wasn't so bad. Black suits me very well, I probably won't wear black leggings.
