Excellent Reading Lamp

Well I have been using this lamp for a month now and I can confidently say I am happy with my purchase. I read many reviews before purchasing and dare say many of the negative reviews (other than a faulty product) are based on unrealistic expectations. For the record, I bought this as a bedside reading lamp and it's perfect for the role. It has other options, but I'll talk about that soon. FYI I am 63 years old, wear glasses and have trouble seeing in low light. I like to read in bed and the ceiling light is not good for that because it shines in my eyes. Enter this product. It has a clip to keep it in place and an (easily) adjustable gooseneck. The clip has a strong spring and holds the lamp securely in place and the gooseneck is 15 inches long. You will of course need a surface to attach the clip to, ideally the headboard of the bed. The clamp opens to a width of approximately 1.75 inches. . The gooseneck works well unless you're trying to adjust the lamp from the side, then movement is very limited. The power cord is approximately 52 inches long and has a USB Type "A" connector. I connect mine to a power bank, but you can also use a 110V USB wall adapter. Now let me talk about the quality and intensity of the light. This is NOT a work light. If you need something for the workshop, keep looking. This can be suitable as an additional light source for the desk. , an art table or a hobby bench, but I don't think that will suffice as the main light source. Other than that, this light works great for my purposes. Remember, I like turning off the overhead lights and reading in bed. This light has 10 power levels and anything from setting #3 to 10 gives me enough light to read. It also gives off a lot of light so I can move around the bedroom without bumping into furniture or walls. (and my toes appreciate it!) There are also 3 different t's ranging from a cool, almost fluorescent blue to a very low wattage incandescent look. Which one you choose, of course, depends on personal preferences. I already mentioned that this lamp has other functions besides reading, at least for me. With low power consumption, it can create decorative lighting for a relaxing atmosphere, e.g. B. to relax with a glass of wine and listen to music. I've also used it to create an atmosphere in a darkened room while playing PC games. If you want a low-power light to stay on while you're watching TV, this might work for that too. I am also a camper and see situations where this would be handy when camping. In short, this light can have many uses. I've been using it almost every night for a month and haven't had a single problem. I can read for around 8 to 9 hours on a single charge from my power bank, although one should bear in mind that this probably depends more on the capacity of the power bank than the lamp itself, which I'm sure draws very little power. the medium settings I use. In summary, depending on your expectations and what you want, this lamp can be just what you need. I can absolutely recommend it.
