Update: It's been over a month and this is my new favorite mic. The voice recording on the camera and the video on the iPad are very clear, crisp and clear. Like it a lot! You really get a lot when you buy a microphone. Supplied with two batteries (one already installed), computer jack adapter, clip and extra long cable. I needed something that would work with my iPad, Samsung phone and Canon camcorder and all three work well. Make sure it is turned off when using it with tablets and/or smartphones, otherwise there will be echoes. Also, make sure you enable it when using it with the camera, otherwise it won't work at all. The sound quality is excellent when used with all devices and I am very satisfied.
