Works well. It seems to mix correctly even at lower settings. The dial can be a problem turning. The device sucks the soap through the straw, so the soap is not diluted during use. Everything but the connectors is plastic, so remember this is not a heavy-duty tool. The reason I took off a star is because the foam nozzle has a mesh screen inside that you can't get to. This means that if (perhaps inevitably) dirt gets stuck on the screen, the foam nozzle will stop working. You can spray water on the head of the nozzle in the opposite direction, which can fix the situation. You can't connect a garden hose to both ends and use your own nozzle. There's a shot that just sprays water.
