Review on 18" X 24" Large Self-Healing PVC Cutting Mat Double Sided Gridded Rotary Board For Crafts, Fabric Quilting Sewing Scrapbooking Art Projects by Levi Stewart

I bought one of these mats before and wanted to get a second one to expanding the cutting area on my table. I used the same link I had before so be sure and buy from the same company manufacturer. I was so excited to set this new mat out. It looks the same in every way to the previous one I bought. But the very first cuts I made on the mat of some cotton fabric I found the cuts were not 'healing' like they did with the previous mat, leaving gouges in the mat, and a rough finish. It is like this one was made with inferior materials. I don't know if I got a 'lemon' product, or if the company is outsourcing to a different distributor/manufacturer, but I am not satisfied this mat. And it makes me sad.
