Very stretchy and close-fitting - good for golfing

I bought these golf trousers in late autumn and early winter. Mostly for temperatures between 40 and 50 degrees or so. I wanted something that would fit comfortably under the cargo pants I like to wear on the field. I wasn't sure about sizing but size XL seemed right to me and I'm 6ft tall and weigh about 200lbs and usually wear 36x34 pants. When I put them on for the first time I was surprised at the fit. These things fit like a surgical glove or tights - I know that, of course. Nothing like the old thermals I used to wear. They have nice wide ribbing at the bottom of each leg to ensure a snug fit over or under socks. In the end, it provides a very comfortable fit under my cargo pants without sticking or sagging that could affect the swing of the golf club. And they stay comfortable even after a long nine-hole round of golf. They keep you warm without sweating. They worked in an outside temperature of around 40-45 degrees, which was exactly what I wanted, but were also comfortable in over 50 degrees, so the effective range where they can be worn is pretty good. . I don't think you could go far below that temperature, but that's my limit anyway, so it's about right. They shrunk a little after washing, but not too much. So if like me you like to play golf in cooler weather and are looking for something to wear in 40-55 degrees or so these shoes are for you. If you can handle the cold better than me, I suspect you can handle it a little better. They are well made and should last a long time.

Pros
  • Stretch: These men's thermal pants have 4-way stretch so you can move freely whatever your activity level. You can move freely without restriction of movement as the fabric stretches with you.
Cons
  • High price
