So we finally finished our basement, hooked up our 5.1 surround sound stereo system through the walls and it was all done when the basement was finished. The only thing was that once everything was done and we hooked up the surround sound to our projector via an RCA cable with another RCA connector for stereo, the sound came out of all the speakers except the front right speaker. I had another RCA connection to stereo and I connected it to the projector and this time all the speakers worked except the front left. In short, I tried several connections and finally decided to buy a new one, so I bought this one. It worked miraculously and the surround sound was AMAZING. The subwoofer rocks the whole basement and the surround sound makes you feel like you're in a movie. This cheap thing worked wonders for us, we would recommend it to any 10/10 that needs an RCA jack for stereo.
