Review on Enchanting Lakeside Village Painting Kit - Dimensions PBN 20x16 by Tara Ford

I'm almost halfway through this painting, which was my first painting by numbers as an adult. I love it. I'm a very detail oriented person who loves color so my brain just loves this activity. It is also very reassuring for me as a parent of two small children. After the kids are put to bed I spend about an hour on this project in the quiet of my bedroom and it feels so good to me. I bought an aluminum easel at my local craft store for about $15 to correct my posture. I can't wait to finish, but I'm in no hurry. Some people don't like mixing different shades, but I like it. My colors weren't dry at all, although some colors were a little clumpy and needed blending, which is easy to do with toothpicks. I have a very small detail brush that I use in addition to the one that comes with it. I draw it piece by piece. It was hard to decide where to start, but I ended up starting with the yellow house and doing that whole section first. I prefer to do it by area rather than color. Overall this is a very fun activity and I'm sure I'll be buying another one after I finish this one!
