Review on Hover Cat Seat Toilet Training by Carmen Thomas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Big mess but it works

Installing this toilet seat was very easy, quick and easy. You start with a cat without a lid with a hole, and then gradually lift the lid until it's open. It's been about 1 week for me. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and to say the least it has been nothing short of a nightmare. FORGET to use the bathroom in your house! Trash will be EVERYWHERE because your cat will jump on the toilet seat and your cat is used to covering their droppings which means they throw the litter around the top of the toilet seat and the excess falls on the floor. I can't always go to the bathroom, just cover the cat seat and fold it up, that's fine, but the trash still ends up everywhere. After 4 weeks of hell it was worth it in the end. $123 for a cat seat is a lot, and there are cheaper alternatives. Installation was easy. I went to Walmart and bought a Cat's Pride Scented Scoopable Flushable Litter Box for about $7 and a decent size. They should last for 4 weeks. While the garbage is flushed down the toilet drain. My only downside is that there has to be a better device that prevents a lot of dirt from splashing out. Also, having to constantly touch the toilet seat after my cat poops so I can use the toilet seat isn't ideal. I'm wiping my doctor's gloves like crazy. I used to use a PetSafe Automated Tray and where I've moved to now I have limited space and need to maximize my square footage. My cat climbed onto the toilet seat. I have a 3 year old orange tomcat.
