I hesitated to buy it when I read other reviews that CF cards are not suitable. Not so. The cards and reader have a wide and narrow groove and lip on opposite sides. Adjust them and the reader holds the card securely, instantly transfers huge photo and video files from my 16" and 32" SanDisk cards and makes me happy. I cannot ask more of a product than it is intended to. Use it like a fine electronic device, don't hammer it in without checking first. Yes, it's tiny, compact, and expensive, just like your camera and computer. Use your eyes and brain (and a flashlight if you're in a field or dark place). I loaded movies in a frozen open booth high above the soccer field. Improve your dexterity and improve your photography.
