This toilet seat is good but I didn't know how much I liked the previous one until I got this seat (we've moved and now the toilet is longer). The ceramic seat we had before held the toddler seat in place with a magnet. My daughter had trouble adjusting and took the toddler seat off its hinges several times. It snaps back on, it doesn't break when it does, to be clear. Sometimes when my daughter has to go urgently she gets worried and calls me to help her lower her seat because she cannot lower it herself. Also, lowering the seat doesn't automatically raise the infant carrier like magnetic ones do, so you have to be careful at night to make sure the infant carrier is up! It's ok for the price and serves its purpose. offers 2 seats. A key benefit is that this converts to a full sized seat just by removing the toddler seat, which was not the case with my previous one. As a result, they can be used longer than with ceramic seats.
