I'm 5'6 maybe half an inch. Now I weigh 179-180. I took my measurements and ordered based on the recommendations which resulted in size XXL. My tall pant size is also a 12 so I figured XXL would be the perfect fit. I bought them and tried them on right away. I was in love! It's very convenient and amazing. As someone who is not very skinny, I don't like how regular bikini bottoms cut into my sides and accentuate the areas I don't like the most. These definitely don't. They're also a great way to hit the center of a one-piece and typical bikini. Also being able to roll them up when unfolding is a bonus. Having said that, I felt they were on the looser side. I wasn't sad about it. ;) But I didn't want to lose 10 kilos and not be able to carry them anymore. I live in Florida so the beach season is long. I decided to downsize, order XL and return XXL. I will update when I get the XL. If you like a very accurate sizing / loose fit, be sure to follow the guidelines. I just felt like I needed her to hug me even more. I was about to order XXL as my tall pants are size 12, so don't be afraid to downsize if you wear similar shoes. I 100% recommend them if you are looking for this style. The price is also unbeatable. :) UPDATE: I went back and downsized to XL and they fit a lot better. To be honest I feel like I can go down to L which is what I usually choose. But the size chart made me think they were too small. I will leave XL. :-)
