This wasn't the best option when I first put it in a hard plastic cup holder, it rocked back and forth but I threw a silicone can opener into it, which you can buy four for a dollar anywhere and put this drink holder on top and it offered enough cushioning and friction to keep it firmly in place. Simple solution and it works. Recommend.
