I have very fair skin and Alabaster is perfect for me. I'm 46 and don't usually wear powder, but this one seems to smudge the skin a bit and doesn't feel as dry and heavy as others I've tried. It doesn't accentuate wrinkles as much as most powders. If you want a classic 1950s matte pin-up look then this is perfect for you. It's not marketed as a foundation, but it hides most of my imperfections. I need concealer for my melasma and under the eye area. It has a nice creamy, finely ground taste. It's a great setting powder.
