Review on Standard Tagging Clothing Needle by Amram by Mike Sutherland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for occasional marking

If I were a mass retailer I wouldn't use these, but only because there are stronger and better options. For the home boutique or casual crafter this is perfect. Lightweight, compact, easy to load, quick and easy to use. I keep mine in case I accidentally lose the tag while transporting my inventory, works great! I bought Amram #2AA 2" clear plastic tags/clasps to go with it and there was more than enough in the box to last a long time. Someone said they don't have instructions, I'm attaching a photo if it helps anyone. Guide always insert the fasteners into the gun from the side near the tip Remove the cap and insert the needle through the paper/brand label Insert the needle into the sewn-in garment (e.g. for a shirt) and hold them tightly. Hold them against the gun. Pull the trigger and pull out the needle. Your tag needs to be attached.

Pros
  • Includes 1 Hawk label holder; for working with wool, linen, cotton, denim, polyester and synthetic fabrics; not suitable for silky or delicate fabrics
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
