Baking gluten-free and ketogenic foods is work, and part of that work involves using a lot of dry ingredients that need to be sifted. Everything must be sifted. I feel like I spend my life sifting dry ingredients together. All almond flour (due to its fat content) needs to be sifted, and then the coconut flour and stevia are sifted. I always sift any protein powder because it's so clumpy. I screen everything. I have a large strainer that I usually use, but it's smaller and barely holds a cup of almond flour. This strainer will hold at least three cups of almond flour along with the coconut flour, protein powder, and baking soda I need. This colander is easy to clean - I hand washed and air dried it. This is a slightly less durable colander than I would have liked, but for $6 it's a pretty decent colander to have on hand.
