I realize this is a very inexpensive part and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to install it, but a little instruction or even a cutting template could go a long way and incur minimal cost the product. Once I figured out how big the hole needed to be, it was easy to cut it in the drywall with a box cutter and make a few snips until it was possible to remove the cut piece. I partially installed a backplate that acts as a clip to hold the unit to the wall from the inside. The screws securing the back panel to the unit must be screwed in just enough to prevent the back panel from falling into the wall, yet be loose enough to allow the user to slide them fully through the hole from the top and bottom. I needed a screwdriver to avoid denting or scratching the painted metal surface. But once the backplate is fully seated in the wall, it was easy to tighten the two screws that hold the unit in its final position.
