Over the past few months I have bought and tested various razor blades in search of an inexpensive but nice and sharp blade for both shaving and other uses . projects. I came across these blades on Revain's recommendation. You will receive 100 blades individually wrapped, my Dorco pack had 4 small boxes of 25 each (100 total). I've used both razor blades and bread blades (a tool for carving designs on freshly baked bread). Of course, for lamé bread, razor blades work perfectly, they're just carved lines in soft dough. For shaving, I installed Dorco blades in 4 different straight blade razors. Each razor has a slightly different effect on the blade when shaving, but with a superior blade, all razors (usually) work just fine. Shaving my face and the area around my beard went great. Shaving sensitive areas was tolerable without discomfort, but I've had better, closer shaves in the past. With great blades, I can usually use the blade for a couple of shaves before needing to replace the blade. On these Dorco blades I used them 2-3 times before changing them. Dorco blades are sharp but not star sharp. If I were to rate sharpness from 1 to 10 these Dorco blades would get a 6-7. Again, they're good, but not great. Overall, they get my recommendation, but there are better blades at slightly higher prices.
